One link for all community payments: How to Connect Multiple Accounts to Nobuk Collect

Communities collect funds for various needs, such as savings, welfare contributions, and insurance. However, managing multiple accounts can be challenging. Most members send their funds to a treasurer, who then manually deposits and distributes the money.

In today’s busy world, this process often leads to delays, misrecorded payments, and misunderstandings. That’s where nobuk Collect can help.

With just one link, members can directly pay for different needs—whether it’s a Last Expense fund, bank savings, or Money Mmarket Fund (MMF) contribution—without relying on a treasurer for manual transfers.

Here are the steps to set your collection to send funds to different accounts directly:

1. Create a Collection

  • If your community doesn’t have an account, the treasurer should register at nobuk.africa or download the mobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  • Once registered, create a collection for your community’s needs.

2. Set Up Payment Categories

  • In the Pay Link Settings page, enable Custom Payments and set user options to “Select Category.”
  • Add the different items members can contribute to (e.g., Last Expense, Welfare, MMF).

3. Add Payment Details

  • In Payment Details, click “Add New Payment Detail” and enter the payment details for each collection category. Add the category in the tags section of the form

4. Link Payment Details to the categories

  • In Collection Setting, click “Add Account” and select the category and the corresponding account where you want the payments to go.

5. Enable Payment Notifications to Whatsapp Group

  • Set up WhatsApp notifications for all or specific payments to keep members informed.

6. Share the link with the group

  • We are done, now just share the link with the group and start collecting.

By streamlining payments and reducing manual processing, nobuk Collect makes fundraising and financial management easier and more transparent for communities.
